Without knowing it, this is the "diet" (I hate that word) that I've been on for a few years. I didn't realize it until AOL named the top diets and gave a brief description of each....The only difference is that I've become a vegetarian. I just couldn't bring myself to eat meat anylonger. My diet consists mainly of whole grains, vegetables and fruits. I eat until I am full. Usually several small meals a day....and every day starts off with a BIG bowl of oatmeal. I've found that this works for me....plus with exercise...the weight just fell off. Oh...and I eat low fat also. Guess I finally figured out the "secret combination" of what works for my body. My problem now is that the weight loss has REALLY slowed down....I'm stuck.....I think I need to shake up things a bit...maybe change my exercise routine...
Anyone else every tried the Eat More Weigh Less diet? It's a great book...bought it on eBay...lots of recipes.
