Day 1 for the 1,000th time

Hi, my name is Felicia and I'm a serial dieter. I've been on just about every diet known to man (i.e. low carb, weight watchers, body makeover, slim-fast, etc.) and that includes many many diet pills - my poor body.

I'm here to lend and receive support.

My day 1 btw is Dr. Ian's diet "Fat Smash" It appealed to me because there's no counting (geez, I'm so tired of counting), no gimmicks and the dude actually emails you back!

As far as exercise, I have a gym membership that I seldom use. My exercise buddy (my 16yr old) bailed on me. When I do go, I work out 30min on the elliptical and 20 min on the tread mill or the bike.

This is a great site and I hope to make many friends here.
 
Hi Felecia and Welcome! I just joined yesterday and I am hoping the support will be helpful to both of us. Like you, I have been on and off on this diet and that diet. I think the best thing we can do is eat small portions, drink lots of water and stay active.
 
Hello Felicia - welcome aboard! You should find plenty of support, and suggestions on here - people are very friendly! Good luck with your quest - just one spot of advice (and I'm you've heard it before) - stop thinking about it as dieting, and consider thinking about it as changing your life... We'll be looking out for you!

Welcome and good luck to ya.I noticed we have simlar goals!There are a ton of different diets and exersices on here that will help ya through thsi!I suggest maybe starting and keeping a diary everyday and even read a few other diaries there are so many inspireing ones here!Tammy

ToothlessFerret (cute name), yes I have heard it before but it doesn't hurt hearing it again and again. In my house we're not allowed to say the "D" word and if we do, it costs a dollar. Needless to say I'm usually the one to slip up and pay up :eek:
