Sport DAMN im hungry GRRRR!

hi currently running a low calorie diet (about 1300) perday as im currently toning up, however im soooooo hungry!
I was wondering if any what foods can supress youre appetite or keep you fuller for longer???
 
Foods high in fiber are very filling. As are healthy fats.
Drinking a lot of water also helps you feel full.

Why go as low as a 1300 calorie diet ? :O ! . What are ur goals ?
 
Unless you are very petite, and weigh like 105-110, 1300 cals seems like wayyy too few. Just a few hundred extra might leave you not feeling so hungry, and might even benefit you. Believe it or not, your body will be more willing to burn fat if it's getting a decent amount of nutrients. It's more stubborn about burning it if it's getting very little cals.
 
Brocilli is God's food for staying full. Also try eating slow digesting stuff like wheat bread over white. Get plenty of water and SLEEP; sleep is soo important to suppress the diet as it is during deep sleep that your body regulates hormones, etc (one of the hormone control hunger).

Beside that, try eating salad with minimal dressing; a large salad may add like 100 more calorie but it will keep you full for like 3 hrs. What is 100 calorie but 10 extra minutes doing cardio.

Hey thanks for the great advice,really appreciate it...Did you say it took six months for u to cut in whilst on a calorie df????
 
examples of filling veggies:
Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, artichoke, peas.

Examples of fillings nuts, legumes and seeds:
split peas, lentils, black beans, lima beans, sunflower seeds, pistsachio nuts pecans.
Lentils, Black beans and split peas are the big fiber bombs. Appx 15 grams of fiber per cup of all of these. Filling with a capital F.

Filling grains: anything dark and whole grain is filling. Remember, if you can bend it and it doesn't break, it ain't whole grain.

Filling fruits: anything that ends with "Berry" with raspberries taking #1'st place.
Pears and apples are also quite filling.

hi thanks for that, yep that was really good. im finding it really hard adpating to eating all these different foods i was a cheeseburger/pizza/crisps/chips girl for too long!! I managed to keep a good figure though but im dyin for a burger!! :yelrotflmao:
