I went to a friend's house and came to know it was her Birthday. Coulden't refuse her birthday cake and had a big piece of it (it was a chocolate cake). I am so upset with myself for having that piece of cake. How much damage might that cause..any idea?

very little... put it behind you and move on...

why would you be upset at having a piece of cake?

not a big deal at all.

OK Thank you. I have managed to get my weight under the normal range and my current BMI is 22.0 but I have a lot of belly fat and still look overweight because of that. Thought avoiding such things would really help me in fighting my problem area.

DON"T STRESS about THAT...JUST KEEP GOING you're DOING GREAT! :)

I hope that you aren't still upset that you ate a piece of cake. Part of being healthy is accepting that sometimes you will indulge, and that is ok. The important part is that most of the time you make healthy choices and save the splurging for rare occasions.
Never beat yourself up because then you can't win. Positive things happen to positive people.
