Sport Cytogainer or Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein?

I am 22 years old 6.2 feet tall. and I weight around 180 pound. quite average weight for my height.
my goal is to make muscle and get bigger in volume (not getting fat).

I read a lot about these two products and asked a lot. most people say Cytrogainer is junk and waste of money. they recommend whey protein because its more reliable and more trusted.
I usually workout 3-4 times a week. however since im in school during tests I may reduce my workout time.

What do you recommend ? any other idea ?
