Cycling noob needs help

Hi I have recently decided to do a 30 mile cycle for charity im may and have not been on a bike for some time.

Any advice on training routines, diet and any other tips would be greatly appriciated.

I do not have a gym membership but do have a racing bike.
 
Start riding. Ride every other day 5 - 10 miles at first for the first month. 10 - 20 miles by the second month and you'll be up to 30 miles by May. You'll be fine.
