7 AM: bowl of oatmeal

10 AM: 150 calorie yogurt with an apple

1: Turkey cheese sandwhich on whole weat bread

4: Few egg whites, protein shake

7: Small portion of either chicken, steak, whole weat pasta,

25-30 minute of HIIT 5-6 days a week. Trying to cut down to about 155 i'm about 165 right now. Once I do this I should have my 6 pack. ANy thoughts?

You have much to learn. I have seen you around this forum quite a bit, are you reading anything? Sorry to be frank, but that's just not good, at all.

First off, protein at every meal!!! Breakfast without protein is crazy, you have gone all night without it! Again, not enough protein in yogurt to make a difference in the second meal. Where are your veggies? I see not one single veggie, and that's just not going to work. You also have oats, bread, and pasta. Keep the oats, lose the bread and pasta, replace with veggies.

If you are really, really doing HIIT, you can't possibly do it 5-6 times a week. Not to mention, you wouldn't want to anyways. Do it 2-3 times a week, and do a full body weight training program 3 days a week, alternating the weights and HIIT. Do a steady state run once or twice a week and that will only further fat loss. You need to make serious revisions before you can start anything...

I agree with Mark. Set yourself up a good full body weight lifting routine, make sure you have your calorie requirment for a cutting diet(w/ 300 post and that diet, i'm not sure if you do or not), drop cardio from 6 days a week to 2 days of HIIT training, and most importantlly, READ THE STICKIES.

Along with the nutritional advice given above, you should be eating way more frequently, figure around 6-7 meals a day, with protein in each one and getting your workout nutrition right as well. Read around a bit more, read some of Berardi's works and get to it man.

I dont get cutting?

What is cutting? Is this something weightlifters do to look ripped? It seems unrealistic to me, you can't do that for ever!

Cutting is trying to lose body fat while maintaining muscle mass. True, you can't do it forever, that's when you go into calorie surplus :)
