Sorry if this isn't the right section...
Anyway, I have a question for you all about "splurging" and the next day weight gain.
My mother and I have lost a total of 150 pounds. When we splurge, we usually do it together once in a while. Well last night we did, had a nice dinner and a huge sundae!
Anyway, this morning, I gained 2.6lbs and she only gained 0.7lbs.
I am wondering why such a difference? Every time we cheat, the next day I go up a large amount and she does not. I am just curious why this happens? What exactly makes our bodies react differently?
She didn't go to the bathroom, but I did. Trying not to be graphic here. Which is also got me curious as to why she gained less. We ate basically the same amount of food.
She is 48 Years old and about 132 lbs and 5'. I am 19 years old, 127 lbs (129.6 lbs now lol!) and 5'3".
Thanks for the input.. I've always wondered what makes us so different this way.
