Creatine

Some guy was so convinced today that creatine is not good to take. He said " once you stop taking it you lose everything you gained".
Then im like it is still helpful. I was trying to tell him that this is not true but he is like i worked out for 6 six years i know everything about creatine.
So is he a complete dousche bag or smart guy?

anyone who says that you lose everything you gain when you stop creatine is someone who doesnt understand how to train.

its very idiotic. tell him to log on over here. would be fun.

You will lose water weight but you won't lose the muscle you build while using creatine. Creatine is more of a recovery tool alot of people fail to realize that. Its not steroids.

Yeah, he's thinking of the water weight you lose when you go off it. He probably thought it was actual lean muscle mass.

So, he's a douche bag.

i've seen it all too often. someone who doesnt know how to train runs to creatine thinking they'll get huge from it. so the first thing they do is load. then they step on the scale and see the weight they gained and say

wow, i've gained muscle already

then they lift, they do more weight and say

wow, look all the strength i've gained

then for one reason or another, the creatine use comes to an end. the water weight goes and so does the little boost in strength. they say

whats the point in taking this stuff if you lose all you gain when you stop

in my experience, these ppl also "max out" on chest flyes, kickbacks, etc and avoid deadlifts because its hard and messes up their shins. :(

haha. I knew I was right but couldn't explain it to him because he was in his own world. I'll have to say something to him again this Friday. ; ). Keep in mind this is the same guy who told the entire class he got pushed off a ten-story building from a friend and broke tons of bones.

I found this website earlier - I found it quite interesting
