Creatine while cutting

im gonna, dont know about all the others though.. im startin to cut and im gonna keep taking it.. on week A i take 10g and on week B i take 20g... so its like ABABABABABABA ect..
 
Some people do, but lets look at what creatine does to your body and decide whether it makes sense.
Creatine helps with power output right? If you are benching heavy weight, it can help you squeeze out that last rep. When you are cutting, you generally lift lighter weight in higher volume, the effects of creatine might not always be necessary (this really depends on how you train)
Also, creatine is known to make the user hold onto some water in their cells. When you are trying to cut down, you dont want that soft look.

So there are plus sides and downsides to using creatine while you are cutting.
I personally don't, but that doesnt mean that you wont benefit. You have to weight the pros and cons and decide for yourself. If you still plan on lifting fairly heavy while cutting, you might want to continue uptake.
 
Your body can only process so much... I hope you have a platinum toilet because excess creatine becomes expensive piss.
most people dont need more than 5 grams per day. I dont understand this increasing and lowering cycle of creatine. Once your muscles are saturated, your only require a small amount for upkeep. Anyone who tells you otherwise probably does have a platinum toilet..

Exactly what I was gonna say! even the expensive piss...very true
 
Elite, how much do you weigh? Unless you are VERY big, that is still too much once you have reached saturation. Your body will not deplete so quickly. But if you want to do that much, its your choice.
Remember to drink LOTS of water and NO booze.. This will be hard on your system if you drink alc and not enough water.
 
im 15 years old 170lb, check out the post in weight lifting about cutting , i posted it.. and i drink about 12 x 16oz bottles a day.. no joke..
 
5g a day post workout is enough if your muscles are already saturated, if you keep taking so much 1) you are wasting alot 2) it is hard on your kidneys
