"Common side effects are muscle tears".....hmmm, I doubt thats a direct side effect of the creatine, but of what you are doing at the time!
 
I have been active in martial arts for 12years. I have suffered from Muscle tears, dehydration and cramping on a daily basis. All of which was my own fault. Since ive bin taking creatine and working out Ive not suffered from any of the things he mentioned.
