Creatine Intake

Ok so i have been taking creatine mix with like all those amino acids like 3 times on training days and once on non training days...on training days in the morning or afternoon depending on when i train during the day and before and after training and at lunch on non training days. I am just wondering tho if i am over doing it and aren't i supposed to slow down on the intake soon ? I have been doing it for about 2 weeks like this

how many grams of creatine each day? You don't need more than about 5 grams every other day really. Don't know about the amino acids though..

the creatine update 2000 is in a red heading like the others ??? and is it on a page other then the first ? I found one that ses 2006 tho ?

Ok well i just read that if you take more then your body needs its just going threw waste so its not doing any kind of damage :) thats good to hear. Also can i mix my creatine with protien shakes coz i cant handle the taste :(

And also just read that say you take it for the first 4 days twice a day to load your body then you take it once a day before workouts ? for up to a month then you stop for 2 weeks then do the same thing over and over ?

no need to cycle creatine use.
the whole loading thing is discussed, if you want to do it, then go ahead. One more economical way to do it is to take 5g every day for 3 weeks. then take 5g ever day after you workout.
When you train your body's creatine stores will be depled, and if you just thow it in your PWO you will charge it up again.

Ok so according to derwyddon post I should be taking half a dose which for me would be 2 level scoops 30 mins before a workout and strait after my workout mixed in with my protien powder and also on non training days have one full serving in the morning and just keep doing that for like forever :p ?

also here is the stats on my creatine

Serving size 40g
Composition Per40g
dextrose 26.29g
creatine 8.0g
taurine 1.0g
L-glutamine 1.0g
Inosine 1.5g
Vitamin c 500mg
Alpha lipoic acid 200mg
L-tyrosine 300mg

Plz tell me what you think

serious ? only post workout because dextrose? i thought dextrose was good for you ? what makes it so bad ? And what i sead i thought you sead is correct yes ?....lol

dextrose is good PWO, but not otherwise. So only use that PWO. I second Der's advice, buy regular creatine when you're done with that.

How about i just keep that...And what does PWO mean again? like after the workout yeah ? so yeah just keep that for after the workout and ill buy some creatine tomoz

ok but is post workout After a work out ? i am pretty sure it is and pre workout is before one but i am not so sure and Why is dextrose good for post work out and what does it do ? A link would be great if your not intrested in explaining :)

Some carbs ( like dextrose ) have really high GI scores. High GI scores means that these carbs get into your bloodstream really quickly and trigger a high insulin response ( spike ).

You want an insulin response ( spike ) after a workout because insulin not only optimizes your body's ability to get glucose into your muscles ( to replenish them ) , but it also optimizes your body's ability to get protein / amino acids into your muscles as well.

Isn't creatine over-hyped? I mean studies suggest that the gain is simply due to greater water retention inside the muscle cells. In fact I think the French have banned creatine use.
