Creatine intake pre/post running?

I usually run for 20 minutes every day after my hour of workout. I have been taking Cell-tech after working out, but before I run because it says "take immediately after workout"

I have just read some stuff to make me believe that taking it before running could make it a little redundant. Should I take it after running? Or would it be best just to give up the cardio for a month or two and focus on muscle gain?

What is your goal? Are you trying to build muscle? Tone down? Or are you torn in between the two like I was and putting on muscle only to have it be shaved away by my cardio workouts ;)

I really can not recommend any products for you because I think a lot of the supplements outs there can be harmful after enough time. I use to take them all. That said, Cell tech is not made to boost your energy or amp you up for your workouts. It is made to assist in muscle recovery and basically, pumps water into your muscles after you have torn them to shreds with your workouts to help increase the size of them. I would recommend running before you pump, or only on days that you do not pump. That would be the “Perfect World” solution. Taking it between your pump and your run you are just going to sweat out all the chemicals you just put into your body.
Hope this helps!

Thanks. I guess thats what I needed to hear. I am trying to build muscle but at the same time was trying to work on my abs etc with cardio. But what you said totally makes sense, I need to focus on one or the other. thanks again

That is what I am here for dude. I wish it did not take this long for me to figure that out ;) The main thing is have fun with it all! Let me know if you need anything! You can friend me on facebook if you want or whatever. I would love to hear how your progress goes! Have an awesome day!

CellTech isn't a real Creatine in my eyes, it's mostly sugar, 77g per erving can cause type 2 diabetes over time, try shaking the tub and then opening the top, that will show you how much crap is in CellTech.

Take a normal unsugared Creatine before your workout. First thing in the morning hours before your workout is the best way to take it for gaining size btw. Mix it with fructose to shock it into your muscles.

The best time to take creatine IS directly after a workout with some sugar. I mix it in my PWO shake with my whey and dextrose.

As you can see everyone's advice is different, see what works best from you and stick with it, don't change no matter what anyone says
