Creatine Ethly Easter

Hey guys Ive been researchin creatine lately and I see there is this new kind that is suppost to be "revoloutionary" called Creatine Ethly Easter. It has and extra ethyl ring attached making it easier to absorb by your cells. I was wondering if this stuff is any better than the Monohydrate form, could any of you tell me if it is cause it is a little bit more expensive than monohydrate. And also I need to know if anyone knows how to calculate how much I should take for loading and my workout days because of it being more readily absorbed. Thanks for any help guys.

Zero scientific evidence exists that shows ANY form of creatine is better than plain old creatine monohydrate.

Also, ethyl ester has been around for at least 3 years, so its not new.

ethyl ester, malate, citrate, 'buffered' creatine....none are absorbed any better than monohydrate. some people definitely don't respond to monohydrate, but may respond to these others. and still other people that get 'creatine bloat' on mono might not get that side effect on one of the others.

So, in conclusion: you likely don't need to waste money spending 2-3x more for CEE vs. Monohydrate.

as for "loading"...you don't need to load. take 3-5g per day, post workout, every day. That's it. nothing magical.

I have taken both pre workout and must say I prefer cee infact dont take mono at all anymore . Cee I take only pre workout none on off days .
Its true what the other person posted no evidence at all that CEE is better but in my case I know it is and not all Cee is similiar or even real cee .

What is it that makes you prefer it over monohydrate?

I get a better "pump' on cee though ofcourse its not like arginine but overall just bit stronger ,pump and Cee I only take pre workout (hour or so) Mono didnt feel like it was working for me unless took it daily to keep it in my system .

I train 3 days a week and take CEE only those 3 days pre workout and works better than Mono for me . Lots of cee is bogus . I like Primaforce cee but for Mono I liked Prolab .

Granted lots great brands out there but just as many bogus brands as its not regulated . aslong as no one gets sick FDA doesnt check to make sure its creatine, cee, etc .

its not a huge difference but enough that I prefer it and only use that. I have nothing to do with the co otherwise wouldnt suggest only to use it pre workout lol and not daily as bottle suggest .

CEE may benefit those with have stomach discomfort from plain monohydrate. Other than that, that's really about it. You'll see some make claims about how superior it's supposed to be but that's no where even close to being true. I think it was evo who had posted that at a certain point, it's pretty much all the same stuff.

It is good that those who do have problems with mono do have another choice to consider.

For some it makes no difference I agree but for me and a few I know it does. Again I think some companies sell low quality Cee if Cee at all .
They put Cee on the label but its just mono. I 'feel" Cee absorbs right away mono didnt for me anyway .
I also take Citrulline Malate and the place I used to buy it from switched wholesalers and now they sell worthless stuff . If I had tried the stuff they now carry I would say it makes no difference all Malate is the same .
I think real Cee you notice again not everyone that has used real Cee would agree but in my case I like it better .

I'm not sure you understand how creatine works. Creatine doesn't give you ANY sort of a pump, unless your the type that gains water weight on creatine...and that's nto a pump..its more like bloating (and incidentally, that's one of the few reasons to go for something other than Monohydrate...those who bloat on Mono often do not have bloat on CEE or other creatine types).

the only way you 'feel' creatine is when you 'feel' you can do a few more reps than you used to, that you don't fatigue quite as fast. There is no pump to feel on creatine.

Yeah seems like you are paying for a pump.. which is okay if you are working your ego. As Malkore said.. you don't "feel" it working in terms of effectiveness other than you get to punch out a few more reps and your strength levels increase a bit. Interesting placebo effect. it is possible that your product contains other stimulants, but creatine itself does not achieve what you are saying. And no matter how hard the CEE companies push it, there is no way in hell that none of it turns into creatinine and all of it is absorbed because it's bonded with yaddy yaddy. Somehow they even got a patent on this unproven product.. That says a lot for the industry.

I know how creatine works as have been working out for yrs and have used diff brands and creatine for yrs .

I get a better "pump" overall better workout with REAL cee than with creatine mono . Others who have switched to CEE would agree . Cee ofcourse isnt like AAKG but its still better "pump" than mono.

I dont work for the CEE industry lol but know what I get from it and what I got from mono . The pump is good for the ego and nothing wrong with that and a better pump gives a bit more drive for me anyway but again I just have a better workout with real cee (tons fake cee) .

Lots say its the same but they never tried it . I know what your both saying but dont agree again everyone is different .

Are we sure we are referring to "the pump" as the same thing here. The pump is when blood is forced into your muscles making them appear hard and engorged. Creatine just flat out doesnt do this. There really is no agreeing/disagreeing about it.

if you can workout harder with CEE, good for you, but you have my condolences, since you'll always have to pay more for CEE vs. Monohydrate. it simply sounds liek you're a non-responder to normal monohydrate...or you were buying crappy monohydrate.

as long as its creapure processed Monohydrate, you've got the good stuff. you need to take it EVERY day, just 3-5g, preferably post workout, or with some starchy carbs on off-days.

Yeah...good memory. By the way, I miss you, Abear. ;) Here's the link http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/tallon8_creatine_stability.pdf (I think that's the link anyway...I need too downsize my favorites folder).

The problem with some monohydrates is it's not buffered. Sooo...just look for micronized or crea-pure on the label.

And eh, not to be rude but I've had people swear to me how well a product works over another product and the product came out to be bunk (read: what was in the ingredients was not actually in there).
