creatine and whye

Well, I am 14*dont know if im too young*, but I would like to get buff, and start body building. So I have started creatine, and I found some whye protein in my house, well, would it hurt if I did both of them, each on different days, 30 minutes before I work out...But would this hurt me, or my muscles, since i know I am still growing..

oh, Im 175 lbs, 5'9, and 13% body fat

I really would not recommend creatine being that you are only 14. Before you jump into anything, you should read around, online, magazines, this forum or anywhere...

In order to "get buff" you need to be eating A LOT. I think whey protein is fine to take, but, you should try really hard to get most of your protein from regular food. Lean meats, chicken, fish, turkey, lean beef, eggs, dairy products, etc...

You also need a solid lifting routine as well, working your whole body, post over in the weight training or body building forums with questions or anything about that

I know what to weight lift on, but no creatine at my age...alright, but would the whye protein be alright? And when could I start creatine(cant let it waste)...because I am serious about this stuff....and I eat chicken every night for dinner, and have plenty of peanut butter for lunches...so I naturally get a lot of protein, but could having too much hurt me then?

Chicken for dinner and peanut butter for lunch is nothing, I can almost guarantee you arent getting enough protein, unless you are eating atleast 8 times and getting altleast 30 grams of protein in each of those 8 times you eat.

Creatine isn't just something you can start next week, you have to have a very solid foundation of lifting (as in years of lifting), and your body/muscles should be done with most of their growing. At 14 you are definitely still going to doing a lot of growing. That's why most recommend creatine above 18 years of age...there is not hard evidence that I know of that creatine hurts growth, BUT, it has also not been tested enough either .

The Whey protein should be fine, but still try to get most of your protein from regular food, chicken and peanut butter is easily less than 100 grams, and you need way more than double that spaced out throughout the day.

If you're taking the whey, take it after you workout. If you wanna take more, take another scoop first thing in the morning.

alright, thanks a lot man!...I will stick with the whey...and the stuff I mentioned..is just a small bit....I have a meat with all my meals....so I grab a lot of protein... but thanks again

Sounds good man, good luck

The only way protein can hurt you is if you already have kidney problems, or you don't drink enough water.. So keep a bottle with you all day.

dont feel bad about your weight...I cant loose anymore, so I will just loose more fat, and gain it all back as muscle
