Creatine and caffeine

I drink bout 6 cups of green day per day, and I just started to load on creatine today. But I read somewhere that caffeine can significantly decrease creatine efficiency. Should I be worried about that ?

I'd be more worried about getting dehydrated from drinking a lot of green tea and the effects the creatine will then have on your kidneys as your body tries to filter it out while not having enough fluids to filter with.

sooo limit green tea intake and drinks LOTS of water.

Fire freak has the right idea. caffeine is a dueretic, creatine is creatine phosphate which gives ATP (energy for muscles) another phosphate molecule once it has been used and converted to ADP, creatine requires more than usual water intake to perform it's action. green tea is dehydrating you. Caffeine and creatine is ok if you are safe and know how to use is no more than 10 grams a day you body urinates out more than half of it anyway.

I think that if you cut down on the green tea you should be fine. Having a few cups a day is ok. I mean think about it this way, in one cup of green tea there is 8oz of water. Just be aware of how much you drink, and to make sure to drink enough water to make up for it. I read that for every cup of cofee you drink, you should drink a glass of water extra per say, so just be aware.
