creatin ok?

Hey, im 17 and almost 18. I havent played baseball in about a year. And now im gonna try to play college ball next spring. So ive got a while to workout. But the thing is I'm wondering if its ok to take creatine. I had a friend who took it and it worked great. Im wondering if its safe though and what your opinions are

Safe yes but its not going to make you that much of a better baseball player

I don't think you can get any harm from creatine. But you probably don't need it at that age yet or for your sport. Creatine is probably best if you begin to plateau in weights and need to improve again.

There have never been any proven side effects of creatine; however, realize that it hasn't been around long enough to know if there are any long-term effects. Here is a great article. I've done two cycles. The first worked great, the second less so, and I haven't taken since. If you have further questions about supplements, workouts, or nutrition post to my website, so I know I can get back to you Workout Review It is a bunch of junky ads now because I am trying to increase my page ranking, but it'll be legit in a month or so.

Creatine by itself is ok but don't take it with juice or it can turn into creatinine which can damage your kidneys.

I've heard that too but not sure about how reliable that is. However, it's only citrus juices that are rumoured to break Creatine down, other fruits like Apple are OK apparently

Creatinine is being produced in your muscles at a constant rate as I type this. Are you on dialysis?
