Crazy compliment

Hey all. I wanted to share this with people who might appreciate it. The other day my husband and I were with some acquaintances and one of them made a comment about the size of my arms. Before I had a chance to respond he proudly described me as a "hard core workout chick" to them. I was so excited to think that is how he (and maybe others) see me now. I NEVER thought I would be in this place :)

Vanity is sweet,, say it, accept it, and admit it is worth the work! I came from 240 lbs, 46 inch waiste, and I know exactly that feeling you are talking about. It is fantastic to see another person transparent enough to admit that it just "feels good to be ME.." or YOU in this case.

Your husband is an idiot and doesn't know a THING about you. First of all, you train. Working out is for the 90% majority in the gym who get nowhere with their goals.

I knew this was the place for understanding. Thanks for the encouragement.

By the way LeiYun, Mr. Idiot got VERY lucky that night because of that comment. :luxlove: workout - training - it was the appreciation for what I do that mattered to me.
 
Just got back from Brisbane where i was visiting my brothers and they always diss on me for drinking protien shakes and working out. Its kinda strange tho because i am only 17 and i have 3 other brothers 20,24 and 27 and two are fat and the other is really skinny because he cant afford to eat properly or just plane doesent bother. My brothers all think my head is like a baby compared to my body lol i kinda took it as a complement. I used to always get called Dumbo because i had a huge head and ears compared to my skinny body.

Smith, my head is enormous. When I was a baby, my head was so ****ing big I would end up headbutting everyone and everything. Now mentally retarded, my head is STILL huge. So you can imagine what it's like for me to not sympathize with you, now that we no longer share the big-head link that united us all.
