Cravings

I never crave sweets or anything really until I start dieting. Probably because I would just stuff my face with whatever came to mind. But anyway, now that I'm dieting I am always craving something. Whether it be sweets, taco bell, or cheese. I am literally always craving something. Does anybody else have this problem or know of ways to get rid of them?

ME TOO I WAS LIKE THAT BUT NOT ANYMORE I have always been what most would consider a “big girl”. In January 2014, I weighed 180 lbs (around 82 kilograms), which is quite overweight for a woman my height. I wasn’t always this weight though. In my teenage years, I weighed only 140 pounds and I felt much healthier and happier but now .My dreams had come true! I was now closer to my ideal body weight than ever before! I felt slimmer, sexier, and healthier! My belly fat had shrunk, my butt was firmer, my thighs were tighter, and my cheeks were no longer round and chubby! Some people barely recognized me! I loved my new body

Yes, I would second what AmyTX said. The cravings for sugar can be intense but they do pass eventually. I used to be a total sugar addict, but now I can take it or leave it. I never thought I would say that. Hang on in there.

Yes I was having the same problem when I first got started on my new plan. Now I am much better but I can't lie, from time to time I still crave pizza or fast food. So if I am truly good for a whole week I may sneak in a cheat meal. But what I am starting to see is that I don't like it as much anymore or it effects my body differently now.

Motivation

It is in your mind. The hardest part to losing weight is adjusting your thinking. As soon as your mind is ready, your body will be sure to follow. I have a great support group on facebook if you would like to be added. They help me stay on track!

I Completely agree !! I motivated myself by a small trick that I learnt with a lot of practice and I have been able to lost an average of 1.5 pounds a day for the last 25 days. It is just unbelievable! :hurray: :willy_nilly::cheers2:

I was practically raised on sugar ... lots of sweets. Now that I've stopped them there are times when I crave them .... especially when I still keep some goodies around for my family. Right now I have some choc chip cookies and a cupcake staring at me. These are my go to snacks and they work for me. I keep red bell peppers cut up and eat them with hummus ..... apples with almond butter (you can use peanut butter), a handful of walnuts with a few semi sweet choc chips. I find that when the sweet craving starts and I grab some protein then it goes away.
