Cramps

Ok I added swimming to my routine instead of running HIIT, but still doing my strength workouts....But since I been swimming on my cardio days, I been having cramps in my Lower body strength routines, particularly Split lunges. While I been trying to Hydrate and bring the potasium levels up, I am at a loss, maybe just to much ont he leg dept from swimming? I dunno I am lost on this one, thought the running would have more of an impact on my legs, but swimming is kicking the crap out of me....

How long have you been swimming for? It might just be that you're hitting your muscles in a different way now and they're having trouble with it. This will go away soon enough.

In the mean time, do you stretch after swimming and warm up before? And have you considered drinking a sports drink in case your sodium levels drop too low?
