Sport Cottage Cheese + Jello

Sport Fitness
I've been mixing sugarfree jello with 3/4 cup of cottage cheese for a bedtime snack. The jello says its only 10 calories per serving with 0 carbs. I know it has artificial sweeteners of some sort. Is this good for a bedtime snack? Honestly, this is the only way that I can stomach the stuff, and it actually tastes pretty decent.

Thanks,
Brett

i havent tried the jello yet but what works for me is a bunch of freshly ground pepper on it. yummy!

I can only eat it 'sweet/fruity' too. i mix no fat, no added sugar yogurt into mine.
I've alos heard of mixing some protein powder into it...need to try that.

well, I'll spare you some time malkore. I mixed a scoop of chocolate whey with some it was horrendous! I don't recommend that. But to be perfectly clear, there's nothing hidden in the jello label right? The artificial sweeteners aren't gonna have much affect on carbs included in that meal? It seems like the ideal setup. Grab some strawberry jello and mix just a little to taste to however much cottage cheese you like and tell me what you think.

P.S. You sicko! How do you eat no fat no sugar added yogurt? Its equally disgusting to me! lol

Don't have the box in front of me but it seems like aspertame sounds right. lol...that going to preserve all my muscle? haha...what affect does that have on you?

Thats pretty scary stuff. Back to the drawing board on cottage cheese I suppose. Any jello imitations with splenda?

I suggest visualizing that you are on "Fear Factor," be a man and down it as fast as you can. That's usually how I dealt with my ex-gf's cooking. I was always a champion after dinner. We broke up b/c of her cooking.

3/4 cups isn't much.

Really!? Did you add a packet of splenda as well?

I've had vanilla, chocolate and rockey road whey in a cup of CC and it was pretty good to me.

Ya...I wouldn't make any dough on Fear Factor. Fear of the cottage cheese is definitely a factor for me! Cynic, I didn't add any splenda just the chocolate whey, and it was pretty awful.

omg I found the best things to mix it with!!! NUTELLA!!!! I don't care if it's super fat and sugary, it makes it a lot easier to eat!!! you can sacrafice a few calories go for it!!!!

or if you want to be healthy....sugar free smucker jams.
