Hey Guys,
Today my dad and I took my dog to class and usually we stop off afterward to get a hotdog at Costco's food court, if you have had them you know they are delicious. Anyway, I didn't stop because I didn't know how many calories were in the hotdog, but then I looked online for nutritional information and found some.

Just posting for anyone else that wants to know...

The hotdog is like 560, and that is A LOT, but I think I'll have to get one once in a while and not deprive myself of it, as long as I stay in caloric range for the day.

Okay, bye. ;)

I just had a look... Ok I have no idea of the ingredients but...
Costco Chicken Caesar Salad 756 93* 91 1831

93 grams of fat IN A SALAD??? Sweet heaven... 1800 grams of sodium???? GACK!!!

I'm just taking a stab at this, but I'm pretty sure they might be referring to the family sized caesar salad kit that you can buy... i would certainly hope so. if not, so much for healthy alternatives

Cesar salad....

Actually.... the cesar salad that they have at the food court is for 1 person.... not a family size... and actually its a mistake on the website... it does have 93 grams of fat.... but the calorie count is wrong... 10 calories for each gram of fat... so its at least 930 calories not including the calories in the chicken and the croûtons and the parmigiana cheese...... Most people don't realize how much fat is in Cesar dressing...

After 29 yrs of not paying attention to what I ate and then going on Weight Watchers for the last yr and 1 month... its definitely a shock... I wont ever eat anything other then the frozen yogurt from Costco's food court.

Henry's has an amazing 0 calorie Caesar salad dressing. Infact, they have a lot of 0 cal (per serving of course) sauces and dressings. My favorite is the 0 cal alfredo.

But yeah, I expected nothing less from the Costco food court. Nothing can taste that good without being that bad.

I have never had any of the food items at Costco, but there is always a line and the food looks good. I can imagine they are probably high in fat and sodium.... I find that its often time worse than what you would imagine. I'd go with a plain old pretzle with some mustard (though thats probably high in calories and sodium as well lol)

What is Henry's? Ive never heard of it
0 calorie Alfredo? i believe it when i see it lol

they have a peanut spread - that they say contains peanuts but yet has 0 calories...

Now I know t hat by law they can get away with having 0 calories when it does indeed have some calories -based on serving size -but -whats the container got? 2 peanuts in it? and the rest is some sort of filler?

If it tastes the same and has less cals and sodium then I am good. Usually when I use the alfredo I end up adding my own spices to it (such as basil). The serving size on the alfredo is 1/3 of the bottle which isnt bad. If you eat the entire bottle yourself you will get some calls (maybe even fractions of cals when eating a serving) but obviously it is a lot better than the 250 you may get with 1 serving of a regular alfredo.

Totally worth it in my book. It reminds me of the vegan Wham! that my sister used to get. It's low in cals and sodium, has lots of protein and fiber, tastes like ham but has the consistency of a leather coat. If you can make it past the consistency, it's not that bad.
