I read that core exercises helps you while doing cardio, makes your endurnace better? Is this true? Does anyone do this?

I haven't read this point specifically, but having a strong core is helpful for almost any exercise. It may make you better at that exercise, and might be able to increase your endurance. Regardless, doing both cardio and core exercises is a great idea.

I'm not sure if having a strong core directly makes your endurance better. If you have a strong core, it is easier to exercise with better posture. In general, if you have good posture, you are able to take in more air with each breath because your ribcage can expand more, therefore allowing more oxygen into the bloodstream and into working muscle tissue. Maybe this was the connection being made? Not sure, but that would be my guess. Any other thoughts from anyone else out there?

Multi-joint exercises such as squat, and over head presses can help build the core as well other parts of the body. I would mix in some of these type of exercises along with your core exercises. Strength training helps endurance activities.
