Sport cooking egg whites

What's the best way to cook egg whites? The only thing I really know about cooking eggs is either fried eggs or scrambled (assuming you scramble them and just take out the yolk?)

Em......boil...them?

haha..i know about boiling (kind of basic ya know? LOL)....I just didn't know if anyone knew of any other ways to cook them. :)

egg white omlettes!

I always toss a whole Omega egg in with my whites. remember cholesterol has as much to do with genetics as dietary intake...

so im still confused why would you want to boil the whole egg and only eat the white and hopw do you do that???

how else do you plan to hard boil an egg? you can't take the egg whites out of the shell and try to boil it. you can eat around the yolk, take the time to break away the white first then eat it or just eat the yolk. lol

Spray some Pam in a frying pan and make them omelette style.

I used to eat them that way but as of late, I took the plunge into drinking them as they are virtually tasteless and save me some time in the AM.

egg yolks contain all the fat, and all the cholesterol...and about half the total protein in one egg.

people who need to watch their cholesterol intake need to avoid the yolks.

you can buy egg whites at the grocery store, but its cheaper to buy eggs and separate what you don't want. I give the yolks to my dogs to keep their coat shiny.

I'd also suggest leaving pointless remarks to yourself. Some people may be blown away by the concept of separating an egg after cooking it...most people find the practice normal and not worth comparing to watching a dog take a crap.

i understand the concept of the nutritional values of the egg white over the yolk all i`m saying is that there are easier ways of getting to the white than boiling the egg first. And i`ve not heard of anybody doing it that way before.

I was`nt trying to ridicule anybody with my comment and i`m not blown away by the concept of separating the egg after cooking:D

And i apologise

P.S does it really work on the dogs coat because my yolks have been going in the bin???
