Confuse And Worries

Hi All!
I'm 42yrs old, Height 170(67") Weight 202 lbs with blood pressure and diabetes. I'm trying to lose weight and gain some muscle, not to look like a bodybuilder but just to be fit and it has been so many years I have not doing any excersise or workout, So to all of you, I really need advised, Should I do the cardio first to lose weight or cardio than weight training and does anyone know how many calories to burn per day?

Ultimately you should work-up to this:
3 days of cardio for 45 minutes per day and 3 days of weight training.

But, since you haven't worked out in a while, start slowly. Add a little bit of cardio time and pace once per week or two.

Remember that your heart and lings will take 19 days to adapt to this new program. So, take it nice and easy. This is a lifelong type thing, not a quick fix. If you pace yourself, you should be rockin-and-rollin in about three or four months.

The biggest and most important step is starting and keeping it going. Stick with it!

Don't worry, it'll only be about 6 - 8 months before you decide you want to look like a bodybuilder :)
