What are your opinions on condiments, I'm not sure if that's the right word, but I'm talking about things like soy sauce, oyster sauce, ketjap manis, worcestershire sauce?

I think a lot of them add a lot of flavor to what otherwise might be a bland "diet" meal.

For soy sauce, it's extremely high in sodium, which tends to cause water retention and bloating in a lot of people, not to mention a cause of high blood pressure... Stick with the low sodium variety and in moderation.

I love fresh salsa as a condiment and use it on a lot of things, and will make my own frequently (it's lower calorie and less salt than any packaged brands)

My facvorite mustards are honey mustard and cranberry mustard - both are outstanding and give some life to a plain turkey wrap.

Tabasco or hot sauce is essential on eggs or egg substitutes...

I dont think twice about them...i use them all the time..in moderation of course. i use lemon and salt a lot on a loooot of things but on the rest of the stuff i dont worry about it. i already try and eat healthy...oh and like the person above me mentioned...fresh salsa is a great one!

I think they are great as long as you keep an eye on whats in them that really you dont need. if you cant have salt watch the soy sauce. If you dont want sugar watch out for the ketchups. They really help the flavor of foods just use moderation like everything else......

Gotta have condiments... And I include in that category, fake butter spray lol. Let me check the fridge, I have: fake butter spray, hot sauce, fat free italian dressing, fat free tartar sauce, mustard, honey mustard, 3 kinds of bbq sauce, and lite mayo. Hardly ever touch the mayo ;)
