When I run, even something that is probably a breeze for you guys, I do over 6mph for about 25 min, I try to raise the incline for the last 3-5 minutes.
My legs get tired fairly fast while my breathing is like nothing, I don't feel out of breath or anything. I'm thinking this is due to my shoes or improper form. The only time I start breathing harder is when I raise the incline. I don't stop though, there's not really any shin or knee pain, just general leg fatigue.
Also, for my heart rate to be at target level, do I need to be breathing hard or just doing strong cardio for 15+ minutes? Also do I need a heart rate monitor of some kind?
I don't want to run for any longer, maybe 30 minutes max which I know would be a breeze since my cardiovascular system seems to be better for some reason. Right now I'm into weight training and not really running. I just need to do warmups and SOME cardio training in between weight training days. Besides, running can get so boring anyway, even with my heavy metal blasting.
