Computer Question??

Does anyone know how to change the color of the desktop shortcuts? I set a new desktop background and my shortcuts are blending into it!

Create a new folder on the desktop then place each and every file on your desktop in it.

Then right click on the folder then click customize, now you can use a custom image for the folder or a different icon.

This should help with your problem.

 I made the new folder but when I went to customize it, it didn't say anything about font color

I am not aware of a way to change the font color, though im sure there is a way.

You can simply rename the folder to 1 or any single letter to make it less visible.

Were you able to change the icon to somthing better suited for your color scheme?

I can change the icon, its just the writing underneath it I can't! ERG, so frustrating cause I know there is a way! LOL! :D

I can change the Icon font and Icon font size through the control panel on mine but font color is always an unavailable option. Fonts are in Control Panel ->Display->Appearance->Advanced..... But like I say the colors option is greyed out and unavailable. you can bold or italicize but no color option.

Which OS are you using?

If you really want to do it I would suggest creating your own Icons that have the label built into the icon maybe.
