Combine Results

We had our school combine today. I posted this last year so I figure I will post this again. Also will show progress from last year. Actually got slower :( Everything else improved though...

Bench- 135x7 (Last year could only get 100 up once)
Squat- 135x23 (Only could squat 135 1 time)
40yard- 5.38 (ugh had 5.22 last year)
20yardshuttle- 4.88 (5.3 last year)
Half Mile- 3.43 (3.55 last year)
Verticle- 25" (16" last year)

On the 40 yard I had to redo it. A bug got into my eye and I ran straight into the baseball coach who was holding the stopwatch. Felt really embarrassed..

What can you all do?
 
how can you get slower when your squat is through the roof compared to lasts year? did you gain a lot of weight or something?
 
My friend, i also am slow we had a combine at my school also

Vertical Jump-25in
Agility-5.35 sec
Power Throw-74.87 joules
Simple Reaction Time- 204 milliseconds
Recognition Reaction Time- 243 milliseconds
Hand Eye Cordination- 85 pth
Flexibility- 16"
20 yard dash- 3.49 seconds (woowwwwww im slow)

im taking the same test in july at football camp so hopefully streching more frequently will increase my speed for next time

I'm sure you were unnerved after that bug ended up in your eye. None the less great job on all your improvements man!
 
I was invited to a combine, but i couldnt make it. these are my stats

Bench- 275
Squat-355
Deadlift-405
40 Time-4.9
Vertical-28
 
How old are you James?

Good results boys. Glad to see an improvement. Wouldn't go saying your slower Jman if you had a bad time in that certain area.

Don't play football, but got a few stats:

height:5,11
weight: 154lbs. (really want that up to 165 as soon as im in top shape)
Bench: 80kg x 3 around 175lbs
Squat: at least 100kg so 220lbs around
Vertical I forget but I got 3rd highest in school year.
1500m time: 4mins 20 mile must be around 4.40
100m: 11 something.

Going to have to work hard to keep up with you guys though :)
 
My Freshmen year I was between 145-150. This year I'm around 168-170. So I did put on some weight. I don't know why I was "slower". It might just be technique on the 40 yard dash because I don't feel slower. My friends tell me I get really fast after 20 yards but my burst off the start is slow. And nice stats by the way James40.
