Sport College kid needs some help

Sport Fitness
Hey guys! Its been a while since I've been here, but I needed some help. Currently im 6'2" and I weigh around 245lbs...And it isn't muscle. I want to lose some weight and body fat. I'm not looking to bulk up, but I don't want to get extremely skinny either. Just fit.

I was wondering what would be some good meal ideas for a college kid with little money to spare. haha. And also, are egg white substitutes ok to eat? I'm looking for food I can make easily and maybe in large quantities to spread out through the week. If anyone could give me some meal suggesstions and tell me what exactly I should focus on in terms of intake and amounts of eating throughout the day, I'd be very greatful! Thanks!

Also, what are some fun yet effective exercise routines? Thanks!

I'm a college kid too, and Lord knows I have money problems too, but some things I always have plenty of: oats (great as oatmeal, great in shakes), bananas (rarely a day goes by without one or two), whole grain snack bars (expensive, but very good for you!), wheat bread, wheat wraps, wheat pasta...all must haves for me...

Also do some research on here and look into a cardio/weightlifting routine that you can do...

Tuna and Salmon are my savior in the dorms. I get the stuff in the packets (5 oz.) put it on whole wheat crackers, it makes a great meal/snack. Lean protein with the good fat.

I'm a college kid too and I get all my meats from BJ's or Sam's Club (in large quantities). Put some in the fridge, the rest in the freezer so it doesn't go bad. Tuna is also great (but I don't eat that in class cause it stinks). I pack my meals in a tupperware, and eat in between classes or sometimes in class. I cook a big batch of brown rice in the beginning of the week. Oatmeal is actually easy to pack. I get a big thing of oatmeal from BJ's, it lasts awhile and it's cheap. Protein powder is the easiest meals to bring (but I don't like to rely on it cause I like to get most of my nutrients from whole foods). But if in a bind, protein powder in a shaker bottle, mix with water and your good to go.

Hope this helps :)
