Sport College diet question

Sport Fitness
Hey everyone,

With it being summer, I'm able to easily coordinate my meals daily to eating every 2 hours every day. However, starting school next month again, I'm starting to wonder what my eating times will be, and if I'll be able to squeak in some quality meals!

What do you guys think would be an alternative? Protein bars maybe? I need some advice ASAP!

Thanks a lot guys,
acg

i'd suggest packing urself with protein bars, a first, and also bringing in fruits on the go :]

u should also make sandwiches for urself. eat on the go.

What are the best protein bars to get, IYO?

And for thr fruit and sandwiches, wouldn't I have to pack them in a mini-cooler? I'm commuting

(My goal is to get lean and burn fat, if that helps haha)

If you do protein bars make your own, there are plenty recipes avalible.

There are some good ways to sneak in food no matter what. I found a way to eat every three hours while working 12-14 hours shifts at the bar with no real break and no microwave so trust me its possible just takes some planning.

-Makes meals night before so that all you have to do is pack and go
-get a sack (backpack) cooler . A medium size one is from 7-30 bucks. Keep it in your freezer overnight, it will stay cool for at least 8-10 hours in a low sun area.
-Make portable meals that don't require any heating up. (wraps, tuna, hard boiled eggs, whole wheat pasta salads, Fresh deli turkey, cottage cheese, fruit, nuts)
-Make use of what around you. Gas stations have microwave, student centers, peoples dorm rooms, tons of places. Water, whey, fruit, oatmeal, bam a meal in 3 mins.
-If you must eat out, eat out smart. If it is a rare occasion then fine treat yourself. But if you find you are running to fast food places everyday a week then do mostly protein heavy meals. No Buns, no bread, veggies instead of starch.

Hope it helps

depending on ur budget, i will look for protein bar about 170-200 calories, and high in protein :]

For fruits/sandwiches, you dont necessarily need to put them in a cooler, I usually just put in my backpack. I attend college 2 and I understand.

Fruits and sandwiches do not need to be cooled :p

also these are backpack coolers, what they look like but vary in size, color shape etc.

lol , no offense but walking around school with a backpack cooler looks dorky hah

Yeah well rent a locker, keep it in your car, carry a sports bag with your books and the backpack in it, they aren't very big, I never carry mine around with me I just keep it somewhere. Things don't have to be so complicated, people make them that way to create ways of getting out of doing things.
Its a solid way to keep food cold and get in your meal.

Well my classes are back to back like 2,3 in a row then I'm done for the day, so I need something to be with me.
