Sport College Daily Diet

Sport Fitness
I have being weight lifting for a year and a half now but I have being confused about what I should eat during the day.
I spend monday to friday at college till 2:30pm and we have a Tescos Super Market across the road where I have breakfast and lunch as the college cafteria consists of burgers and chips.
Now I was wondering what should I be eating if I am wanting to bulk, as Tescos provides everything there is to eat?

I looked at the nutrition thread but there is no way I could do all that as I don't have a portable cooker in my bag hehe :)

To gain muscle you need to eat a caloric surplus of good protein, healthy carbs and good fats. So the same foods apply as losing fat- unproccessed, close to nature as possible, low GI levels, etc.

A lot of people have a hard time getting in enough calories to build muscle. At that point you can turn to foods that are high calorie, but still good for you.

I'll admit I am not the best person to post about this subject. Try PM'ing LV or Stroutman81. There are others too, but those 2 names come to mind. I see them on the board almost daily.

They can help you determine what foods are higher calorie, but still good for packing on muscle.

try and eat more when ur body is more receptive...if training hard enough u shood wake up reasonably hungry and shood be the same after workouts...try and eat as much as you can at these times...the body will also use most if not all of the food then with limited fat splill ova...as for foods try high fibre cerial and lowisg gi bread for breaky...a protein shake and bread and/or cerial staright after wts and then some solid protein and rice, pasta or bread about an hr later...focusing on cerial, bread, pasta and rice is easiest as most can consume a lot of them in 1 sitting...as for other meals keep them moderate in size...u may need tro supplement some fish oil or add in more fish type poducts as fats yeild more cals per gram
