I've been working out for approx 2 yrs, but really going at it harder since January of this year.

Weight: 130 Height: 5'6" Age: 24 The highest weight I ever hit was 135.
Goal: 120-125. I know I have gained muscle since I began exercising so I know I won't ever be back at 115 (when I was 21 and younger) because I was skin and bones! But I would like to trim/tone up my hips and abs which need it the most. And of course my overall body as well, but it's doing pretty good right now as far as looking toned.

I think I will just post my daily work out routines and sometimes my meals each day. I need to get a scale for my apartment so I can weigh myself first thing in the morning. I use my apartment complex gym and they dont have one so by the time I get to work, I have already eaten breakfast and dont want to weigh myself. (We have a gym with a scale in it at work).

Today:
Woke up: 3:45 a.m. (Yes, to answer your question, I am crazy )
Ate: 1/2 apple.

4:00a.m.:
Back: DB Bent over rows: 3x8 15#
Chest: DB Fly: 3x8 15#
Treadmill: walked 3mi @ 4.2mph (jogged at 5.5mhp for 5 minutes) .....felt lazy today. *Drank 24oz water*

5:15a.m.:
Post workout shake: whey, soy milk, flaxoil, womens multivitamin, vit E, Iron.

6:15a.m.:
Breakfast: 2 egg whites, 1 yolk. (I try to get more protein in!)

10:00a.m.:
Snack: the other 1/2 of apple.

11:00a.m.:
Snack: Kashi granola bar.

12:00pm:
Lunch: ww & wgrain bread with natural pb and jelly.

*Drank approx 80oz water by now.*
 
Welcome...we are the same height and weight lol. But um the age thing that's a little different lol. Good luck with your goals.
 
This was the rest of the day on 10/25/06:

4:30pm
Dinner: leftover roasted salmon, roasted zuccini & squash & potatoes & carrots.
5:30pm
Snack: because I wanted something sweet. Kashi crackers with natural pb.
 
TODAY:

Today - 10/26
3:45 am wake up & ate 1/2 apple.
4:15 am (lost keys, found later in garbage disposal. I have my two kitties to thank for that)
4:20 am work out
shoulder press/lat pull: 3x8 each. 15#
treadmill: walk 4.2 mph, jog 6.0 mph total 3mi. (still feeling lazy this week)
5:20 am (ran out of whey) used light soy milk w/flaxoil and vitamins.
6:20 am 1 slice ww & wgrain toast w/natural pb.
10:00 am 1/2 apple
11:30 am pb&j

drank approx 80oz so far of water. 1 cup coffee. *had a cookie offered to me at work and said "NO"!:)

My calories on days that I have cardio and weights, I try to intake 1700-1800 calories. On only cardio days, I try for 1600-1700. Rest days: 1500-1600.

I dont use the fitday.com every day. I use it maybe once per week or so, whenever I feel I need to see what my day looks like. I have been trying to take in more protein because my carbs are too high. Today Im going GROCERY SHOPPING so I will pick up some new foods. I am kind of reorganizing some of my meals. Please make any suggestions in my diet that you think might help. Im open!
 
Actually what about good old oatmeal? I've started eating steel cut oats (the oat grain is cut into two or three pieces, rather than steamed and flattened like typical oatmeal) and I have to say I'm liking them a lot. The taste isn't as mouth filling as regular oatmeal, but it also doesn't have that flour/paste taste either.

Cottage cheese and nuts are also excellent protein sources - if you're not adverse/allergic to them, give it a try. (1 cup cottage cheese and 1 oz almonds is my 2nd snack of the day).

10/26 continued...

2:45pm
snack - 8 baby carrots, 10 baby tomatoes, 10 cashews, 10 almonds (both whole and natural).
5:00pm
dinner - chicken marsala, green beans, potatoes.
6:00pm -
snack - i wasnt hungry but wanted something sweet. i dont buy junk food so i ate some natural pb w/fat free pretzels.

I tried the cottage cheese thing, wasnt a big fan. I do eat my almonds and cashews though! I already have oats, I just need to start eating them. :) So tomorrow morning I will eat my oats. Im going to the market tonight so tomorrow my diet will totally change....stay tuned...

How have you been Stingo? Are you doing well?
 
Doing fine here thanks - just got in from a get together for the gym manager whose last day is tomorrow. Curse the shrimp and pepper pizza for being SOOO good! lol I've diary also - misposted in the women's section if you'd care to have a look.
