I don't want to touch your ***** or anything that has touched your *****. Yet you open the door to the bathroom after taking a piss and I will come along and open the same door. Someone will eventually shake your hand. Etc.

Washing your hands is not only sanitary but will keep a lot of illnesses away.

We have this commercial in Norway. Two guys are at the urinal urinating. One finishes, and walks away without washing his hands. The othre guy says "Didn't your mom teach you to wash your hands after?"
Then he replies "Didn't your mom teach you not to piss on your hands?"

I wash my hands after I pee, it's just automatic. However, I don't know if it's that unsanitary, since all you are holding is your dick, it's just skin, and if you shower regularly, it should be clean skin.

Besides, you don't even have to touch it, I do that all the time, just let it hang over the toilet and piss. Takes a bit of practice if you've never done it before though :p :D

If only you could see what was inhabiting your hands and your ****.

I use to never use soap in the shower i was like waters good enough, bbut after learning so much i always use saop and wash my hands...properly!

Why do you think you have to thoroughly wash your knee for example days before an operation, you;d think your knees clean but its not! :)

It gets to the point where we end up washing our hands too much. It makes sense to wash your hands with regular soap before handling food or something, but I see nothing wrong with not washing your hands after using the bathroom if you didn't get anything nasty on your hands. This recent phenomenon of antibacterial this and sanitary that is beginning to create a huge problem. The germs are mutating and becoming antibiotic resistant. It's not good. Also the constant use of antibacterial cleaners doesn't give our immune system a chance to learn to fight of the bugs. I say wash your hands in moderation. There's no reason to carry around instant hand sanitizer wherever you go. Just use common sense. Plus, there's nothing all that harmful about urine anyway it's actually known to be antibacterial itself.

the immune system doesnt fight the bugs on your hand because its not in your system, only when you touch openings in your body such as eyes and ears does it start. Its not the fact you got urine on your hands but the things you touch which would be breeding crap like the toilet flush, seat, dorr handle, tap, the poo botton etc that is more important.

You dont have to go crazy, but the more hygeine you are the less you will get sick which you would notice if you did the total opposite.

Sorry but id rather not get your dirty germs when i shake someones hand :p

When your older or have an underlying disease youll take the time out to make sure your clean otherwise it could be the difference between life and death!! mwa ha ha

the knee thing and bacteria on your hands is not a very good argument IMO.
Alright, we should wash our hands frequently, because we get a lot of bacteria on them (since we use them for almost anything). But I don't really think that holding your weiner while peeing gives you that much bacteria.
However, I do think you should wash up.

and yeah, the cleaner we get, the weaker our immune system gets.

Should be rules of washing your hands-
Before cooking something for someone
Before eating
After using the restroom
After taking otu the trash

For restaurant workers in almost all US states, 1, 3, and 4 are required by law.

To the OP, actually I don't think this is amuzing (sic); actually I think it is disgusting when a guy or lady takes a whiz and doesn't wash. However, that said, I think there probably is little risk of disease because urine is generally considered to be sterile. Any urine on your hands would contain toxins, mainly nitrogenous wastes, that are probably not that bad for you in small quantities.

Getting poo on your hands and not washing is not only disgusting but unhealthy for you and anyone else who has the misfortune of touching the doorknob in the john after you touched. There are a buttload (pun intended) of microorganisms in your digestive system, including e. coli, that if someone else ingests will cause all kinds of problems, including hepatitis which can be very serious and persistent. Montezuma's revenge is from cross contamination of intestinal microorganisms from poor sanitation and washing.

This is the reason I use a paper towel to open the door in the john.

The thing is tho, there are GERMs everywhere!!! you cant escape them, the railing at the train station, the handle of any door, but you dont wash your hands immediately after touching these things.

And how is my "thing" any dirtier or un-clean then say my hand is before i touched it? or any more dirty then my face....there are germs and **** everywhere....

Yeah there are I agree, but you cant prevent the railway rail being germy but you can prevent your hands from being dirty.

Im not saying what your doing is bad or anything each to his own :)

"your wanker"?!? Lol, I've been called that many times my not my ***** :)

IMO the germs off your d*ck almost certainly won't make you ill, I mean how many times has a woman blown it and fallen ill soon after? If they have then go see your doctor

However, having said that, it should be pretty obvious that you need to wash your hands after peeing because there's a cumulative effect that goes on.
You get tiny traces of pee on your hand, then you touch the door to leave the toilet and you leave a bit behind. Then the next guy does the same, and then the next, and by the end of the day you could have tons of germs from hundreds of d*cks brewing on the toilet door handle. And are you honestly comfortable touching a door with hundreds of mens urine samples on it?

I wash my hands after peeing just because washing your hands often is a good idea to prevent illness....but urine is sterile and you shouldn't have more bacteria on your dangling participle than anywhere else if you bathe regularly. So theoretically not washing after urination isn't so much a sanitary issue, it's just the thought of it that's disgusting.

Occasionally if I'm in a really nasty public bathroom I'll decide my d!ck is cleaner than the sink handle and decide not to wash

Look...just wash your hands after going to the bathroom. I don't see what the issue with not washing hands is.

Imagine-you've just shook someone's hand after they've had their hands on their p3nis.

After reading this thread, I'm not shaking anyone elses hand realizing that some people think they don't have to wash their hands after going to the bathroom.

I actually don't touch myself down there when I pee. I just pop it out and wham! But, I still wash my hands. You should wash your hands periodically anyways so that's a good opportunity to do it.

There's a reason why I have disinfecting gel dispensers all over the gym ;)

i think your crazy!...paranoid or something.
