Classical Music anyone?

Along with rock, rap, jazz, soul etc..
My mom brought me up on Mozart, louis Prima and Frank Zappa, so at an early age i got into some good tunes. :)

OOOOhhhh..Zappa. I'm a big fan of Zappa and his prodigy Vai...haha. I think we got into this the other day stingo. But yes, I'm a fan of Bach, Mozart, and Paganinni (those caprices are awesome).

Yes, it's good to have a well rounded musical education. Yup, I remember the discussion in chat the one night tony. Karla, good on ya - would it be an outfit I've heard of?

I used to complain as a child about classic, calling it old music, but I really enjoy the classic symphonics (over modern symphonics). There's more depth to it.

Yeah, I like a lot of "Classical" music. Some of my favorites are ...
Bach
Mozart
Mahler
Rachmaninov
Saint-Saëns
Paganini
Messiaen
... a whole lot of others.

somewhat a fan of classical music, but not by nature more by habit...when i was pregnant tony used to make me listen to classical music...because they say it makes the baby smarter...i took a liking to it, myself after a while . lol

i find classical music very relaxing. when i was a kid my mom would put it on to put me to sleep at night. Mozart 4 seasons was my favorite. i also enjoy Andrea Bocelli.

Very relaxing.

ohh yeah vivaldi.. sounds right.. haha

i have all of bocelli's CDs :) i went to one of his concerts once. no one would let him leave. everyone would stand up and shout encore.. lolz he did like 6 extra songs.

not really into classical music... but I do like a group called Apocalyptica...
They play rock music on cellos so its kind of an interesting sound

Well I pulled up Apocalyptica on Rhapsody - very interesting sound... wouldn't confuse it with classical of course, but great fun to listen to on its own. Thanks for the suggestion.

Opera (like Ballet) is best seen live - though I've seen some DVD's that are pretty good (like the Levine DVD of Don Giovanni for example).

Their older stuff is a lot better without the vocals I find it very relaxing and bridges the gap between rock and classical nicely although I wouldnt call it either:D

When I get real mad I go into my room close my door put on some classical music and drink a green tea. It stops me doing the stupid things I used to do.

Fuel _ whats your favourtie Bocceli song mines Vivo Por Ella. With Laura Pausinni.
