Hey just a question for some of you hardcore cardio-bunnies out there.
I lift about three times a week and do cardio the other three days, mostly in the form of the elliptical trainer. Usually I go for about 45-60 minutes at an 8.7mph pace and at the 16'th resistance.
Lately, I noticed my lifting sessions getting longer because I included 15 sets of ab workouts. My trainer suggested I switch them over to my cardio day to "even up" the time in the gym. I did that and found myself very tired after my run and could not do the ab workouts as well.
My question is, would I be able to get the same quality of workout by doing something like this?:
Cardio- 15-20 Minutes
Abs- 5 Sets
Cardio- 15-20 Minutes
Abs- 5 Sets
Cardio- 15-20 Minutes
Abs- 5 Sets
Any input is greatly appreciated
Thanks very much,
