chronic fatigue & weight gain

After 3 years in asia, and 3 courses of antibiotics, I developed chronic fatigue. What has helped me recover, and lose my last 15pounds is the raw food diet. Now I look even better. The whites of my eyes are even whiter! Can't wait to see more changes.
Follow my journey on my blog:)

Good for you@ My brother ( a huge work out fiend) has chronic fatigue & I know how devastating it can be. I have fibromyalgia & can relate to the issues you face. congrats on the achievement. I have thought about trying the raw food diet (partially , anyway).
I love cuisine so it intrigues me. :)

may I suggest...

avoiding fluoride, as many chemicals as possible, and slowly eating more alkaline foods(fruits veggies soaked nuts and seeds). I started developing F when I was very acidic. As my PH went up to 6.2, so did the F. I think acid (chemicals) are accumulating in the muscles. That's why some doctors think F is all in our heads. We feel it, aches (like lactic build up, which is acidic) and shooting pains through joints. You could make easy goals like a raw breakfast and snack, and one green juice a day. I know I'm getting healthier because my face looks great, younger, smaller pores, less redness of rosacea

I think the normal conditions of humans is slightly acidic. This sort of scenario you are pushing is just as waste of money based on a load of bullshit.

No one would argue with you that fruit and vegetables nuts are seeds are healthy but that's as far as anyone need go. After that, its all about taking your money. And about being food obsessed. Its not healthy.

I've not a couple of people close to me who were on this sort of route. Such people are very difficult to be around.

hope I didn't offend you...

Maybe I came across too strong. I personally am so grateful for all the blogs I visited and learned about my PH. I don't make money on my blog, and I don't think the sites I visited make any either. There's nothing to advertise when you're taking about a plant based diet. PH strips are less then $5 at a tropical fish store. I just wanted to point out that you said humans are slightly acidic. When I was at my worst for chronic fatigue, my saliva was 4.5. That's what scared me the most. I was almost the same as a coke.

Blood - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia read about the pH of blood

Homeostasis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia read the section on homeostatic imbalance.

Note the diseases mentioned. To some extent some of these diseases are caused by bad diet. But it does not mean you have to follow a radical diet such as yours to obtain balance and good health. Too much protein is harmful. As is too much fat, as is too much sugar, as it too many calories. Its a fairly simple matter to reduce whatever you are overeating and maintain a balanced diet.

I think its a mistake to worry about how acidic our blood is. Rather we should be concerned that we are eating enough healthy foods and not eating too many unhealthy foods.

But i believe people are keen to make money by peddling diet myths. Its a way of carving out a niche for themselves. Its doesn't make money to sell the tired old truth of eat a balanced diet. So people have to come up with something novel that can excite their customers.

I actually had similar typw of weight gain. I dont know if its from the inactivity or the cfs itself. Probobly a little bit of both. I was able to lose some of the weight just by changing my diet. I cut out all suger and most carbs. I try to eat mostly organic type foods. Low carb diets arent the easiest thing to be on but, it seemed to work for me
