chronic fatigue and weight gain

I had chronic fatigue from july til february. Not sleeping made me gain 8" around my tummy. It was very sad looking and feeling horrible. But I found out my saliva PH was 4.5! Almost like a cancer patient. I went raw, and my PH went up to 6.6, getting closer to normal. I am recovered from CF, and lost those 15 pounds. Don't give up if you have health problems and weight issues. You will figure it out!

This is me exactly! what do you mean you went raw? and how do you test saliva ph?

She means she went on a raw food diet.

Howaldaloom you don't need to go on a raw food diet. But you can if you want to.

You can lose weight doing no exercise at all. YOu just need to choose the right calories to consume daily, monitor your calories and eat well chosen healthy foods. See my diary for example. I exercise but there's no reason you have to. It is better if you can because you build muscle mass which burns up food faster/raises your metabolism but again so long as you eat hte right amount of calories and good quality food, you can lose weight and enjoy your food too.

Hi sorry it took months to get back to you. You can buy PH strips at health food or tropical fish stores. I test my saliva before I brush my teeth in the morning. When I was extremely sick, my PH was 4.5 (a healthy person is 7.2). Before I went on the raw diet, I already stopped eating gluten, dairy, sugar and most meat because they made me feel sick and tired after I ate. So then I started adding green veggie juice and eating soaked nuts and seeds. I also sleep at 10pm every night, a hard adjustment, but necessary for me. You can overcome CF!
