Chewable, pill, liquid or powder creatine

I am going to start using creatine and I would like to know what some of you think is the best form to get. It is sold in chewable tablets, powder mix, pills, or liquid. The liquid looks the best for convenience but what do you guys think.

the liquid is the WORST form to get. over priced and under powered.

plain powdered creatine monohydrate is what's been scientifically proven to work in most people. nothing fancy. its also the cheapest...usually 500grams for $15, which is a little over 3 months' supply.
it also comes in capsule form, but you gotta take 5 capsules, and they're usually not as good a deal on the price.

get the powder, and add a heaping teaspoon to your post workout shake, every day. no loading. no cycling.
Expect 3-4 weeks before you notice changes in the gym though.

I just had this convo with a person this morning. I think the powdered creatine monohydrate are the best way to go. Taking pills taxes your kidney's and liver more, and the liquid is just way too expensive for what you get.

well if the pills are straight monohydrate, just encapsulated, its the same as taking the powder form, just not as cheap.

the liquid is expensive, but the bigger issue is that creatine degrades to useless creatinine once its mixed into liquid. it takes some time, but if that bottle of liquid stuff sat in a warehouse 2 months in the heat, then sat on the store shelf 2 more months before you buy it, a lot of the creatine is gone, so it becomes a less effective product. its fancy 'ready to use' gimmick is why they still sell enough to make it profitable to keep making it.
