Try to eat several very lite meals a day even if your not hungery. On the exercise part I'm not too sure if it hurts to walk. Just try to take it easy and do only what you can. Don't be too hard on yourself you have already came a long way!!! Just give it time. I hope you feel better soon!!!! Welcome to the forum and Good Luck!!!!

Welcome to the forum.

I can only agree with rachels - try several small meals throughout the day and if walking/runnig on the treadmill hurts, maybe try the elliptical trainer...it is less hard on your joints...not sure how it is with backpain though.

There are many ways to stimulate hunger, try using aromatherapy. The worst thing for a bad back is lack of exercise. There's a saying "don't take a sore back lying down". Exercise may hurt, but it also strengthens your muscles, ultimately helping to ease the stress on your back. Just take it easy though, don't over do it, every little bit counts.
Have you tried swimming? Low resistance, but brilliant for weight loss and general health.

Dear Cheriehc,

I hate to see you so down. I do have a little bit of an ideal where you are coming from, (I have many medical problems too, one since birth and it gives me pain on a daily basis). You need to try to look to the good things you have. Try to cheer up a little bit. I'm very sorry to hear about all you are going thru and hope things get better very soon. You can get thru this!!!! Good Luck!!!!

thanks for the thought yes i need to cheer up but when you go through so much and have more boy it really gets to you,I have a lymph node inlarged in breast they have to remove now.worry causes eatting with me oh yes and sweets I crave.Thats what i need to do gain back what i'm trying to loose.I'm glad your out there careing for me that helps to know that there are others that have feelings for others Thanks love you for being a friend i don't know and giving support.

I really do know what you are saying. And thank you for your kind words. I really just can't stand to see somebody hurt. I really feel for you. Things will get better!! I know sometimes it seems that one bad thing turns into another but it will get better! Any way I wish you the most of luck and hope to keep hearing from you.

I'm really sorry to hear that you are so down, but I can understand it. Just do the best you can with the exercises and the diet and try to remember that if you eat out of stress and frustration, it will hurt you even more in the long run. Believe me I know it is easier said than done, but - YOU CAN DO IT!!

Good Luck!!

I am sorry to hear your news, and I can understand your stress and upset. This is supposed to be a happy time of year, but actually many people find this time of year very difficult, be it the pressure of the holidays, the weather, or life in general. Just breathe, inhale for the count of four and exhale to the count of four,...find that inner peace and say positive things to yourself onver and over and over. "I have strength, I am vital, today I will believe in myself".
Trust in yourself.
