Hi!
Where do you work in Chicago? I just got back and I ate my way through the whole city! However, I missed a couple of places. Are you a chef at the awesome Signature Room? I did not eat there but I had drinks in the lounge and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Loved the view and the high priced drinks =)

I drank my way through the city as well =) I was there for the bodybuilding competition (USA Jr. Nationals on the weekend of June 17th) You might have seen a shitload of crazy tanned folks running around.

My favorite bar that I went to was Streeter's Tavern.

Well you are right, but I was hoping to maybe start a topic on Chicago and maybe get other's take on the city or just different cities in general and living vicariously through food. Also maybe to get to know ChefChiTown in a public setting?

Was I wrong in posting something like this in the "off topic" section? Honestly I haven't read through the rules like one should, so I am not sure if I am breaking a rule here.
 
No rule breaking, just odd.

Usually when someone calls out Chef it's to call him an ass, not ask him about Chicago.
 
no, no rules against it...just thinking Chef might notice more if you emailed him...its easy to overlook a thread sometimes....plus, I dunno, I thought it was weird to have a 2 person conversation, so publicly........but anyways...just ignore me, it was just my 2 cents :)
