Sport Cheat or not a Cheat?

hi guys...

am trying to lose my belly Fat so i have been visiting the gym regular and just eating protein and veggies and salad...i will not go into my details of the diet as i have posted before and i kmow my diet is good....but a quick question.

I am cutting out all carbs i think as i dont think they help me lsoe weight...meaning all bread, pasta, rice, beans....

My grandad comes round tonight and brings sandwiches....would you class this as a cheat meal since ther are carbs in the white bread?

I would consider that a cheat meal.

I don't think you should cut out all carbs. You need them. Yuo can lose the weight with them and in a healthy way. However, can your grandad make or bring sandwiches with whole weat bread vs white bread?
 
as silent says, cutting out all carbs is ok but only if you understand what you're doing to the body, and are able to recognize when you've done it too long and need to have some carbs.

and remember not all carbs are equal. oatmeal and brown long grain non-instant rice are good, whole grain carbs, and in moderation are just fine so long as you're meeting your macronutrient goals.

white bread and most cold cereals I would avoid when trying to get lean.
