Cheat Meal / Exercise

So tonight i'm having a cheat meal. It will really be my first in about 1 month, i'm having pizza. I'll probably have a 9". I've reached my goal weight already, so i dont really want to lose anymore.

My question is, i'm going to hit the gym today. As far as burning off the cheat, am i better off to work out before i eat? or after i eat? I have the potential to be able to hit the gym immediately before going for supper. If i work out after, i wont be able to for a few hours later.
 
Not sure this is the kind of answer you're looking for but....

Just IMO it sets up a vicious cycle to use exercise as a way to "burn off" excess calories - either before or after. If you already know how many calories it takes to maintain your weight, why not just adjust your overall intake today and tomorrow to account for the pizza tonight...so instead of being a "cheat" you have to "work off", going out for the occassional pizza can just be a "planned treat"?
 
I don't know if it would matter too much before or after, calories are calories whenever you get rid of them. Exercise after might make you feel better as it could help your digestion.
 
I would think exercising after would be better. Everyone is different, but if I exercise before I eat, I actually feel hungrier.
