Change (In The House of Fly)

Any other Deftones fans here?

:D

Just starting LVs system to get some of this bodyfat off that I have 'accumulated' over recent weeks out through illness/injury.

As agreed and out of respect for Lee I'm not going to post anything specific to the program, its more a place to post my progress pics, measurements, weights and whether I've been a good boy.

Basically somewhere to chalk off another day in cutting hell ;)

EDIT: Mericless has put me to shame so I'm going to spruce it a little bit :D

A very little about me...

I'm Christian, or Chris, or Nicholls. You're real sharp if by this point you've worked out my name, 10 points ;)

I'm 25, and currently live in a quintissential English town called Ashby-de-la-Zouch. I know, not exactly English sounding but it's an old Market town with a Norman church, the knight of whom gave the town a nice Gllic (see Frog) suffix.

I work for my father and study part time at college before going back to University next year. I'm engaged to a beautiful girl who seems to think that Uni is free as she wants a wedding when I'm midway through

Women...

I got fat, then got thin, then started sliding again after some injury and illness. So I'm keeping a journal here to keep a progress report of how I'm doing. I start preseason training for my local football team (US Football) in December. I will cut until late December, then starting a bulking/cutting cylce so that when the season starts in early April next year I'm going to hopefully be just a couple of weeks off maintenance.

Good luck to ya, cuttin aswell now..

One thing that I think helps a lot is to have one eating day a week where you can eat anything you want, 10'000kcal+ if you feel like it :D Some say it affects metabolism and/or leptin levels and thereby helps you loose weight but its pretty questionable if the body have to to up-regulate it in one day.
The main benefit is the psychological aspect, if you know that on saturday you can eat that bag of chips you crave for its much easier to resist so it will keep you sane during the weeks aswell. It will also refill you glocogen levels and thereby give you a couple of days of upped energy at the gym. If you're really serious and count calories it will also help you from getting any eating disorders.

In theory that 7000kcal surplus every sturday will more than cover your -500kcal a day but reality differs from theory and you wiil still loose weight just as fast, many say faster even.

This princess has been lifting!

You know, first full day one and its been pretty easy going really, felt good pretty much all day. Gonna hit some spaghetti Saturday night I think :D

Like, enough for four bears or something.

Anyhow, ate clean and adhered to my programme easily enough. Getting used to consuming nothing but water is going to take some getting used to but meh...the only easy day was yesterday right?

Hit the gym for the first time since getting injured then ill.

So 11 weeks.

Was pretty hard going midway through, DLs to start with killed me, and I'm lifting 50kgs less than when I hung my gloves up. Arms still quivering trying to type this...

Once I got back in the gym though and smelt the stale sweat and checked out the smoking hot gym bunnies, I realised I was back home, back where I belong.

That said, I'm going to be stiffer then a catholic priest in a prep school tommorrow morning.

But the only easy day was yesterday right?

LMFAO....I nearly spit my food out on my monitor when I read this.

But the only easy day was yesterday right.
The program is VERY easy to follow which is one of the reasons I created it. So lay back, follow the program, and anticipate some serious progress!

Touch me, my boobies hurt.

No they really do.

Felt good today, little tight in the hams this morning but soon loosened them up in the pool. Hit up three quarters of a mile at a steady easy pace. I'd forgotten how ugly the old ladies where in the pool at 7am.

Had the day off work, took Sarah Christmas shopping which nailed the plastic but at least its all done.

Drew some funny looks making a shake in the middle of the shopping centre (mall), then drove like hell to get home to feed.

Weights went well again, all in all today worked out good.

Chalk up another day...

No weights, ate clean.

Upper body feels thrashed, middle back is still sore and my tris are kicking in. Leg day tommorrow, going to be moaning like a bitch come Sunday.

Definitely a Deftone fan!
Henry David Thoreau is awesome, I love his philosophy, I have only read some but what I did read was great.

Have fun with your program, you can do it! :)

Thanks Codi!

Well scratch another day, ate clean, hit my macro requirements.

Dextrose finally turned up, and got some crushed Scottish Oats which makes that whole process easier.

Legs today, had some nice burning going down. Waddling a bit today, little more tommorrow and probably limping come Sunday :D

Well, lifting day one today and its settling in now, I've got my head around the nutrition side.

Some poor lady had a fit in the swimming pool today. Is it bad that I was worrying about disrupting my target heart rate if I swam to her assistance? :D

Cheat meal on Saturday night was disastrous. Got some Chinese from a place my girl recommended and it blew. Managed about four mouthfuls before throwing it out.

Have to come up with new ways of getting protein at breakfast instead of egg white omelettess; they're going to get pretty boring pretty quick.

Christ another 2 days gone

Hitting my meal goals for both days again, no workout today, felt a little lost coming home from work without going to the gym...still, always tommorrow.

Need new whey powder, the sweetener in the one I've got is blowing me up everytime. More money...

Per-pre-(???)season football training starts Sunday, can't wait. Only flag football and drills for a month to break the newbies in but I'm looking forward to seeing what I've got myself into.

I would be one of those Deftones fans. I'm looking forward to their latest album, Saturday Night Wrist.

I hope your "change" goes well--I'm sure you'll see progress in no time.
