challenge!!!!!!

these planches look extremely challenging (in my opinion) but i am willing to work and eventually be able to do them! anybody want to embark on the planche challenge with me?

does anybody know how to do these well? can anyone do them here?
any advice on form, progression, ect?

Have you stopped weight training? I personally don't care much for the perfect pushup or planche pushups. If I can however do the moves in the , I will sleep easier at night. :D

it looks fun though huH?
those circuits looked good man. you think that would be good for fat loss?

maybe just some tabata

and no i have not stopped lifting :D

it looks fun, and I really want to be able to do it.. it's just the wrist position that would kill me. Not that It would be easy otherwise or anything! Would probably take me years :p

That looks insane. I've got enough on my plate trying to get my muscle-ups down and that iron cross. Which I don't even do much, anyway :/

thanks WOODT :D
im only 160 now idk why i lost weight i didnt try though.
and im almost 5'9" :]]]

and yea lei it looks real tough; i still havent been able to master handstand pushups.
il have to talk to FF again to get tips. i wish i could try iron cross and muscle ups. whats a muscle up?
just like a pullup and then a dip up?

Whats with all the challenges....everyone on here has to be better then some one at some thing. If you keep freaking challenging each other how will you ever stick to a normal routine lol

lol idk smithmachine.. i think challenges are the key to progression
just doing random stuff that is crazy, different, and difficult has a way of keeping it fun and fresh for me.
plus if you master it, ppl go

when they see you do it :]

I made them out of tie downs and bowflex handles. I hang them from under my stairs, but I also bring them to the gym with me to hang off the power rack and do dips and rows. My MA gym has rings that I use to do muscle ups

It's just for people who are getting tired of their routine and something like this gives them a goal to work for...Reading your posts reminds me so much of myself a couple of years ago - Doing everything exactly right, never missing a workout and making sure you eat at the exact correct time, making sure you get enough protein for the day...You probably don't drink either because you're afraid it'll interfere with your routine...Am i right?

lol yup pretty much streamline :p i drink like 3-4 times a year. Most people i know drink every weekend almost. Kinda pointless going out getting drunk when you haven't got the body to pick up the chicks :D

fair enough but going out is where you're gonna meet most of the girls you hook up with or become friends with. I 'spose you can just not drink when you go out, but that's no fun...Neways, i wasn't havn a go or anything, just an observation i've made about you...BTW, you better drop this attitude before schoolies! ;).
