Cement Training

Hi guys. I've decided to start my cut. Training for my summer body. Yay! This means I need to lose body fat and lots of it. Lol :D

My main weapon is with lots of cardio work. I'm planning on having 5-6 days of cardio and 3 days of lifting. Yeah, I'm really eager to reach my goals. Anyways, three days will consist of HIIT. The other two (three depending) days will be long interval lower intensity (long distance) jogging.

Everything sounds good, right? I thank you for your support. What is the problem then? Well, I'm from Canada; to be more specific Manitoba. I would say it has to have the worse weather in all of Canada. It is so cool here. I'm not able to go out and run. This really sucks. If I want to jog, the only option I have is my basement. The flooring is made of cement. Yes, I am aware of the dangers in training on cement. Yet, this is my only option I have, currently. What do you think? Should I not go jogging at all or should I?

No excuses man.

For a long time, the conventional wisdom was stay away from high impact activities to minimize damage tot your joints. But, folks started living longer and breaking hips and they realized a lot of this was from loss of bone density and it could have been avoided by increasing your bone density through high impact cardio!

So, you can increase your bone density and burn the cals you want, but if you notice any joint effects (knees, ankles), back off.
