celltech creatine, 75g sugar, 75g carbs

Hey fellas,

i got this creatine as in the subject, seems to be alot of sugar and carbs per serving dont it? i been taking a serving after every workout for the last 5 days now and was wondering if i should be concerned with all that sugar and carbs.

I used to take monohydrate, should i just switch back?

Thanks.

celltech is overpriced, for sure. sugar is used to spike insulin, which helps the creatien get into the muscle cells.

but, for the price of plain monohydrate (about $15 for 500g, which is 100 servings) and a few pounds of corn sugar (aka dextrose, about $4 for 5lbs) you can have a generic, unflavored cell-tech for $20 that lasts 3 months

I put my creatine in my post workout protein shake, so that covers 'flavoring'. plus i have articles to argue that post workout is probably the wisest time to take supplemental creatine, especially if you take some sugar with it.
