CEE - powder vs. liquid vs. pills

Alright, back for more education on these supplements. I posted here about a week ago regarding my move to creatine, I went to my local GNC and purchased...

... after checking a closer look, I realized I need to find an alternate place to buy supplements cause GNC are beginning to be rip offs compared to websites (By the way, if anyone knows a better place in Canada ((Specifically Ontario)) to buy supplements, can you let me know? Really appreciate it.)

Back to the topic at hand though, like the title says, out of the three, which is the BEST? Best as in, the best results and bang for my buck. I read an article a moment ago from someone's sig about pills being the worse form to take CEE in. I wanted someone to shed some light on this for me and advise me so I quit making these mistakes that cost me money and potential for a more better looking me :SaiyanSmilie_anim:

Thanks for all the help.

pure CEE powder. pills aren't cost effective (and if you're looking at Kre-alkalyn...its junk. it has NO scientific evidence to back up its claims).

liquids are a no-no. creatine slowly destabilizes once mixed with a liquid. its not a problem if its fairly fresh...but if it sat in a warehouse for 2 months before even hitting the store's inventory...I'm sure you see my point. Plus its more expensive and offers no real benefit.

CEE has better absorption rate than monohydrate. many feel you don't need anything but water for CEE, while monohydrate does get better absorption when taken with a simple sugar (like dextrose, in your PWO shake). its fine to take CEE with some sugar too if you like.

I can't really help with online sites for Canada, but I'd suggest you hit Google and start looking around. I know we have some Canucks on the board that can offer up some sites though.

Hey Malkore, as always, thanks for your input, you guided me right with the creatine, as soon as I stepped into GNC to find it, the clerk was all over me wanting to force NO2 to me instead of what I initially came to buy...

Anyway, so powder is the way to go, then I'll be sure to pick that up next time.

As for the brand of the creatine, is the Axis Labs one which I picked out okay? I tell ya, its a freakin chore to go to these stores and just pick a damn supplement. I'm pretty sure I'm good with my protein (cyto gainer) but now its a whole new battle with which creatine one to pick :pain7:

That brand of CEE is fine. I'm not 100% sure but bodybuilding.com may ship to Canada. I've bought their Primaforce and Higher Power brands and I liked both. BUT, if you haven't taken the CEE powder before than you are in for a treat ;).

I checked out bodybuilding.com, they have by far, the lowest prices, especially now that the American and Canadian dollar are practically neck and neck, but this bloody shipping is what absolutely kills the whole deal, I'm paying the EXACT same amount as if I were to walk into GNC and buy the same products. Oh well, back to searching for a cheaper place, I checked out a few on Google which were Canadian, but their prices didn't get any cheaper and would be even more combined with shipping.

I agree with LV, that's pure CEE. seems pricey, but prolly because its capsules and not a powder.
if capsules are going to fit into your schedule better, go for it. just remember creatine timing matters less than consistency, so there's nothing wrong with taking it at the end of the day at home, which means powder form might be feasible after all.

just trying to save you a few dollars if possible.
