CD Player Recommendations

Not sure where to post this....so I chose here.

The gym I teach at is a little behind the times, and still uses a tape player in the classes. I have been pushing for them to get a cd player, but the fear is that it will skip with the jumping and movement in the room.

Does anyone have any suggestions of a system they use that will not skip and will hold up with a lot of use?

TIA :D

You could get a portable CD player with electronic skip protection. It basically records like 10 seconds of music so if the eye does skip, nothing is missing. THey work really well.

i have an AIWA mp3 player that comes with an arm band, that it clips too.

( its the european site so you can see the 360 view )

i bought it for less than 60 bucks off ebay. i dont use the arm band, i usually will clip it to my waist band, and if i got a belt, ill clip it to my belt. runs for a while off just 1 aaa battery. about 10 hours off 1 energizer.

( AHH 101 POSTS FOR ME - didnt even notice ) :D

you can hook mp3 players up to speakers too, also makes it allot smaller to carry around, if you dont want to store 50 cds,

An mp3 player would fit your needs perfectly, it won't skip, you can store whatever music or other sounds on it as you need, and it can be hooked up to a set of speakers.

Ideal.

Actually, an MP3 player probably would not work. There are multiple instructors, so there is A LOT Of different music being played. Also instructors need to change their music quickly and easily throughout class. But, thank you for the suggestion...maybe I can hook *my* mp3 player up to the speakers and let the other instructors still use the tapes ;)
