How much muscle does catabolism actually eat up? If I weight train 3x a week and do cardio for 3 of the other days, will I lose muscle, gain or stay the same? My weight lifting sessions aren't light either, and I make sure I get plenty protein after.
 
Are you gaining or losing weight? If you're gaining weight it is highly unlikely that you are losing muscle mass overall since you are doing weight training. If you are losing weight, you might be losing some muscle mass, but not a lot. How much you lose will depend on your lifting, diet composition and how big of a deficit you are in.
